I couldn’t fall asleep last night, and since Esty and I had this conversation about Shonda Rhimes and Ellen Pompeo, I decided to catch up on Grey’s. Grabe ka Shonda! I don’t even have the guts to continue Scandal. Yes. I know I get attached to shows, which is why I avoid TV as much as possible.

If we accept time for what it is, how it flows and how we flow with it, I doubt very much that we would continue wasting loads of it by constantly checking our watches. The gnomon’s shadow falls where it falls — and so do we. Where we are now is where a lifetime’s worth of steps have taken us. Are we early for this moment? Are we late? Should we hurry back to the town house because your watch says so or should we linger as long as we can in the second where we stand?

Photo on the right was taken at Lund Cathedral’s Crypt and I figured it was oh-so-appropriate for chapter four.

I don’t know why these TED Talks are suddenly all over my Facebook feed, but I’m really glad that they are. Let’s face it, close to midnight, all I really want is inspiration. This one is by Sabsy Ongkiko called Our Return on Investment. It’s interesting that she mentioned how people usually tell her “sayang naman” when they learn about her being a public school teacher.

I hate that word.

Theater of the Absurd

Watched The City by the Why Not Theater Company with some theater friends and our mentor Adam today. You guuuuys, it was a boat theater! Literally a boat docked at Nyhavn, converted into a theater. Acoustics were amazing I can’t even!! The play itself was a bit tedious but wow what. an. ending. Psychological obscurity right there.

Copenhagen rush x Caffeine = Perfect night to analyze The Zoo Story for Tuesday.

Oh and shout out to all our kababayans who were having Saturday dinnah out at KFC. It was like the motherland there today. Mabuhay! :))
